These medals got issued in two models, one in red and one in white, red being for wartime and white being for peacetime (not combat related merit)
This particular example was made by Egaña, and is dated from around the Spanish Civil War era, this model being most recognizable on Blue Division uniforms, as they got this same model awarded to them for fighting in the Soviet Union.
The medal is in excelent shape, showing no damage or flaws other than a very light patina which is correct for its age. The ribbon is intact and untouched.
Overall a wounderful medal to add to a German, Blue division or Spanish collection. The spanish equivalent of a German Iron Cross second class.
