This amazing tunic came to us directly from a family member! We sadly do not have a nametag inside, but we do have a typing machine letter from the family member speaking briefly about the item when it was sold off. The name given is " Carl Henrich Rudolf Wilhelm Von Stulpnagel" , an extremely well known general and winner of the Knights Cross, he was a key member of the early Third Reich army and latter one of the main members of the 20th of July 1944 bomb plot against Hitler, which failed. He was eventually arrested after attempting to shoot himself, brought before a court and hung.

We believe this story to be true, based off of other photographs, size and style of build of other of his tunic this is an extremely close match, and the letter it came with. However, as we have stated, we do not have a nametag inside, a sad missing detail!

A unique piece, belonging to an extremely important member of the Wehrmacht.

Some small nips but overal very clean condition, lovely original untouched insignia, with loops for several awards including a DKIS (German Cross in Silver).

Condition 2.
