As the Spanish Civil War (1936/1939) broke out, Italy and Germany rushed to supply Franco with war material, some of it newer and some of it older, amongst other pieces of equipment, these Italian WW1 period/style Adrian model helmets got handed to the Franco forces, though many got captured by the Republicans, causing both sides to use them extensively.

This particular example still has most of its original paint and a complete original liner in pretty good condition. The chinstrap is present and in working order, though a small cut to the leather means that future owners should not force it open too often, to avoid it breaking.

A nice helmet with an interesting story, it was recently recovered from a house cleaning here in Spain.

Condition 2.
