A once in a lifetime oportunity to own this amazing piece of history, awarded in 1972 by Franco to SS officer Friederich Lippeheide Henke, on the list of 108 Nazi´s searched for in Spain by the allies, he was a member of the SS secutiry service working in Spain during the war, working also in the chemistry business and being one of the suppliers of chemicals for the German army and for use in the Holocaust. Postwar he maintained his business facade and was one of the founding members of the BBVA (Banco Bilbao Vizcaya) one of the largest banks in Spain. He passed away in the mid 90s and was never imprisioned.
His whole family was involved in very interesting stories, though little information around him can be found as he managed to keep a low profile even during the war. This award is the highest you can receive as a civilian in Spain, it is the equivalent to the Congressional Medal of Honour in the USA, made in ectremely high quality materials and in its original case with his presentation plaque and the silk band, it is effectively enough a "Grand Plaque" by definition.
A unique piece, with incredible history, no other items belonging to him are known to be on the market at the moment.
