Another dog-tag we found alongside the others in the flea-market in Germany, this particular one is marked "2/PI. BTL.MOT.32", when looking online the only information we found was "Formed on 6 October 1936 and subordinated to the 2nd Infantry Division (motorized). The battalion’s garrison town was initially its formation location, Stettin, and from 1937 onward Schwedt/Oder.

As of 8 October 1937, the battalion was also motorized.

On 10 January 1941, the battalion was renamed Panzer Pioneer Battalion 32 and subordinated to the 12th Panzer Division.

Replacement personnel came from Pioneer Replacement Battalion 2 in Stettin-Podejuch, which had been formed on 29 August 1939 by Wehrkreis II. Later, replacements came from Pioneer Replacement Battalion 12 in Schwedt, which had also been formed by Wehrkreis II on 25 November 1939 from Pioneer Replacement Companies 75 and 258."
